Старший редактор The Verge рассказал о голосовой помощнице Cortana, которая появится в следующем крупном обновлении платформы Windows Phone.
По словам Уоррена, Cortana будет представлять собой нечто среднее между эппловской Siri и гугловским сервисом Google Now: она будет заставлять выполнять смартфон команды по голосовым запросам пользователя, напоминать ему о событиях, отвечать на вопросы. Cortana будет вызываться кнопкой поиска, как сейчас открывается голосовой поисковик Bing.
У Cortana будет репозиторий Notebook — место, где хранится связанная с пользователем информация: его личные данные, список контактов, электронные письма, события из календаря и прочее. Cortana будет анализировать эти данные и отображать соответствующие напоминания и уведомления.
Информация будет периодически индивидуализироваться, а пользователь сможет контролировать, каки данные содержит репозиторий и при желании модифицировать их или удалять.
Cortana будет встроена не только Windows Phone, но и сторонние приложения — на первых порах только Foursquare. Если Microsoft откроет доступ к этому ассистенту и другим приложениям, из Cortana может получиться неплохой конкурент Siri и Google Now.
Скорее всего, на начальном этапе общаться с Cortana можно будет только на английском языке. Об этом свидетельствует полный словарь команд, опубликованный на WMPowerUser. Вот эти команды:
